Tire Reference is an independently operated informational website. Legal, privacy, and data enquiries may be sent through the contact page or to [email protected].
Information we collect
Tire Reference does not require an account. When you use the contact or issue-report forms, the information you enter is used to prepare an email in your own email client. The website does not receive that information unless you send the email. If you do, we receive the sender details, subject, message, and any other information you choose to include.
Calculator inputs are processed to provide results and do not require vehicle ownership details, VINs, or purchase history. Hosting and security providers may process limited technical data, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the website.
Cookies and analytics
The calculators do not require advertising or affiliate cookies. Tire Reference may use limited analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve reliability. Where Google Analytics is active, Google may process device and usage information and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy terms.
You can limit cookies through your browser settings and use any controls provided by the analytics provider. Blocking non-essential cookies does not prevent access to the calculators.
Data retention
